TAPAS are pleased to be hosting a workshop on Indoor Environmental Quality in Schools at the Healthy Buildings Conference 2023, taking place in Aachen, Germany 11-14 June, 2023.
The workshop will be an interactive session with presentations from invited speakers followed by a panel discussion which we hope will actively engage the audience. This workshop is targeted at delegates who have an interest in designing healthy schools, improving air quality, enhancing education on air quality, and influencing positive behaviour changes in pupils and staff.
Confirmed speakers include Dr Sarah West, Director of the Stockholm Environment Institute at the University of York; Jorn Toftum, Professor in Ventilation at the Technical University of Denmark; Runming Yao, Professor in Sustainable Built Environments at the University of Reading and Chongqing University, China; and Koen Tieskens, Postdoctoral Associate at the Boston University School of Public Health.
The session will be chaired by Nicola Carslaw, Professor in Indoor Air Chemistry at the University of York; Henry Burridge, Senior Lecturer in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London; and Patricia Fabien, Associate Professor of Environmental Health, Boston University School of Public Health.
