Funding Opportunity

Short Research Visits (SRV) scheme for Early Career Researchers

This scheme aims to provide Early Career Researchers (ECRs) the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to work in an interdisciplinary environment. This will enable an ECR to spend time, typically one week, in another organisation to gain experience outside their own field of expertise. The Scheme funds travel costs up to £1,000 for each visitor and ten will be funded in total.

Eligibility

Researchers eligible for the SRV Scheme should match the following criteria:

  • UK-based early career researcher (as a guide this refers to an individual employed in a postdoctoral research capacity with fewer than 8 years full time postdoctoral experience. But if you would like to be considered but don’t fit this definition, please give more information in your application).
  • A researcher with research experience or demonstrable interest in the field of air quality for schools and the impact on children’s health, who can contribute widely to the TAPAS programme.
  • A researcher who is willing to share and present her/his research outcomes at an ECR seminar organised by the TAPAS Network.
